To Apply for the Subclass 457 visa things must happen
457 visa applicants must find an eligible employer who is willing to sponsor them as part of the visa process the Australian Business then applies to be approved as a sponsor. If the Employer meets the sponsorship and nomination requirements they then nominate the position or positions they need to fill and the worker then applies for the 457 visa.
Permanent Residence
The 457 visa is valid up to a term of 4 years. Once approved, the applicant worker must work for the sponsoring business or if they wish to change employers, make a new application repeating the whole process. Work experience in Australia may be gained on this visa and it can also lead to a permanent in Australia through the skilled migration program or by sponsorship of an eligible employer.
