This visa is for you if you want to visit your family in Australia or to holiday in Australia for reasons other than business or medical treatment and you have an eligible relative in Australia or an Australian Government official willing to sponsor you.

To be eligible for this visa you must have sufficient funds to cover your stay in Australia, have health insurance and meet health and character requirements

With this visa you can travel to Australia usually for a period of up to 3 months and in certain circumstances the visa may be granted for up to 12 months, enter Australia only once and you will not be able to extend your stay.
