The visa is designed for international students who are sponsored by AusAID or Defence to study a full-time course of any type in Australia.
With this visa your spouse and eligible dependant family members can accompany you to Australia and once in Australia, you can apply for permission to work up to 20 hours per week.
It is important to note that to successfully apply for this visa you must have sufficient funding from an acceptable source to cover course and living costs for you entire stay in Australia.
