The Vocational Education & Training Sector (572) visa is for international students applying to study in Australia and whose main course of study is a certificate I, II, III and IV (except ELICOS), a diploma or advanced diploma, a vocational graduate certificate or diploma.
With this visa your spouse and eligible dependant family members can accompany you to Australia and once in Australia, you can apply for permission to work up to 20 hours per week.
To successfully apply for this visa you must have sufficient funding from an acceptable source to cover course and living costs for you entire stay in Australia.
