The visa is for international students who want to study a non-award foundation studies course or other full-time course (or components of a course) that does not lead to an Australian award.
With this visa your spouse and eligible dependant family members can accompany you to Australia and once in Australia, you can apply for permission to work up to 20 hours per week.
It is important to note that to successfully apply for this visa you must have sufficient funding from an acceptable source to cover course and living costs for you entire stay in Australia.
