This visa allows aged persons who rely on a relative in Australia for all, or most, of their living costs to migrate to Australia permanently.

To be eligible for this visa men must be 65 or older and women must be at least 60, not have a spouse, be sponsored by and be financially dependent on your relative who is an Australian citizen or permanent resident or eligible New Zealand Citizen.

With this visa you can live in Australia permanently, work and study and access certain social security benefits and ultimately, gain Australian citizenship.
