The visa allows Independent Executive visa holders to remain in Australia to become eligible for permanent residence under -
- Established Business in Australia (Subclass 845).
- Regional Established Busines in Australia (Subclass 846).
- Sate/ Territory Sponsored Business Owner Subclass 892)(Residence).
This visa is only for existing holders of a Temporary Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa (Subclass 457IE) who need more time to be eligible to apply for one of the visas listed above.
New applicants for subclass 457 visas should apply for a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship.
