Here is all the information you need about applying for the regional established business in Australia visa otherwise known as the subclass 846 and the requirements for the Subclass 846 Visa application.

This is a permanent residence visa for business people who have owned or owned a share in a successful Australian regional business for 2 years, have been sponsored by a state / territory government authority and are resident in Australia on a subclass 457 temporary visa.

To be eligible for this visa you must have complied with all obligations of the provisional business visa you held, as well as meeting requirements regarding business ownership, residence in Australia, sufficient business assets and turnover and provided employment to Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Note: this is a points tested visa.

With this visa you work your existing business, your family can accompany you to Australia and get permission to study and work in Australia and you have the right to live in Australia as a permanent resident for five years after which, you will need to apply for a resident return visa).
